We are excited to announce Michael Reed as the official Assistant Coach and player for the Beaman United FC UPSL team!
Born and raised in New Mexico, Michael played competitively through his youth and went on to Captain for the NCAA D-1 University of New Mexico college soccer program.
After graduating from the University he got his first professional contract by signing with NASL Champions, Minnesota Stars/Minnesota United. From there he went on to play with Atlanta Silverbacks (NASL) and San Antonio FC thereafter until Nashville SC bought out his contract making Michael Reed the first ever Team Captain of the franchise.
Lastly, after playing a season with Memphis 901 FC, Michael decided it was time to hang up his cleats as a Professional Player and now currently heads his own soccer training organization “The Swarm Soccer” where he focuses on the next generations of soccer athletes alike.
