Tennessee Tempo FC Announces U.S. Open Cup Preseason Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - - Tennessee Tempo FC has officially announced its Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Preseason Schedule, marking the beginning of the team’s most recent Open Cup campaign.

Beginning February 7, Tennessee Tempo FC will face a competitive lineup of regional opponents in a series of preseason matches designed to build fitness, cohesion, and competitive sharpness ahead of Cup competition. The schedule includes home and away fixtures against strong UPSL and collegiate sides, providing valuable match experience as the club prepares itself for one of the most prestigious tournaments in American soccer.

Familiar faces like Morazan ZLA, Midwest Hooligans, and Kaistorms FC all offer semi-professional competition, while the likes of Cumberland, Lindsey Wilson, and Kentucky Wesleyan all offer intense collegiate competition with National Tournament experience to boast.

The U.S. Open Cup, the oldest ongoing national soccer competition in the United States, brings together teams from all levels of the American soccer pyramid. Tennessee Tempo FC’s preseason aims to prepare the Murfreesboro-based team for their latest run in the Cup and will offer fans across middle Tennessee and the surrounding areas a chance to see high-level competition from an otherwise unviewed lens.
