We are excited to announce Niamh Rawlins as the official Assistant Coach for the Beaman United FC UPSL Women's team!
Niamh grew up in England and started playing soccer at a young age. She played at the regional and national level in England for Wiltshire, Bristol Academy, and Portsmouth FC in the premier division, before moving to the US at 18.
She played Division 1 college soccer at Lipscomb University, where she was a two-year team captain. While in college she was selected for the conference’s defensive player of the year, the conference’s team of the decade, the conference’s first team, the all-tournament team, and the all-south region team. Niamh also played in the WPSL for Nashville Wolves / Rhythm where she was selected for the regional all-star team.
Since graduating from college she is working as a Mental Health Counselor in Nashville, while also coaching individuals and club soccer. Niamh currently coaches the 2011 boys and 2007 girls at Armada FC. She loves working with players to focus on their development, competition, and love of the game. Soccer has given her more than she could ever hope for, and she wants to pay that forward!
